Update from Our Council President

Robert Menking, 2020 Church Council President

Dear Fellow Congregational Members –
Due to the fact that the COVID numbers are increasing at an alarming rate, the church council fears that we are not able to provide a safe and comfortable setting for in-house worship services. In addition, we received, on Monday, a communication from the Bishop of the Synod with a strong recommendation that all churches in the Synod suspend in-house worship. Along with that recommendation was news that three (3) clergy members of the Synod have tested positive to the virus along with two (2) members of the Synod staff. One of these two is apparently very ill with the virus.

As a result of these developments, the council has decided to suspend in-house services and the usage of our church facilities for the remainder of 2020. Of course, we will continue to offer both the YouTube services and our regular radio broadcast during this suspension.

If you have any questions about these decisions, please contact either of the Pastors, myself, or other council members, or the church office. We ask for your prayers as we face these difficult issues. God bless you and our church.

Worship Schedule

Our Sunday worship service is broadcast live on the radio on KNAF 910 AM at 10:30 am, except on the 2nd Sunday of the month, when it is broadcast at 9:00 am.

The Sunday service is streamed live on our YouTube channel at the same time as the radio broadcast, and is available any time afterwards.
