The Evangelism Committee focuses on how how our Congregation can better proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ in the world, and encourage and build up one another as members of the body of Christ. They also support and lead the congregation in it’s vision to live as Christ’s welcoming people. They take note of members who are missing from worship and contact them when appropriate to determine if there are spiritual or personal needs. They oversee the membership and pictorial directories and keep up with our youth who are going off to college. They take note of visitors, sending them a welcome note, and follow-up with a visit. They also oversee the publishing of brochures and packets of information to be made available to visitors.
Members include (from left to right): Doris Ernst, Audrey Mayer (Worship), Janalee Hannemann, Aleks and Ron Gant, Sandy Schmidtzinsky, Gena Koennecke, and Diane Mayer (not photographed).

The Mission Committee brings awareness of local and global needs to the congregation. Each month a special concern is advocated by the committee to encourage financial support by members. Such needs include: Water to Thrive, Lutheran World Relief, the Good Samaritan Center, the Needs Council and Meals on Wheels. Members include: Doug Reitinga (chairperson), Janalee Hannemann, Diane Mayer, Robert Menking and Barbara Sultemeier.
The Worship Committee endeavors to provide meaningful worship on Sunday mornings as well as special services during Advent and Lent. They train the ushers, decorate the church for special events, and invite the community to attend our worship services. For more information contact Audrey Mayer.
