The Church Council of Zion made it a goal to offer quarterly music events. The program is called. “Songs of Zion” is the name of the program, and it is our way to share God’s gift of music with the community.
Upcoming Concerts
Duncan Holmes will give a concert in the Sanctuary on June 14th at 4 pm. He is an amazing local pianist who happens to be blind. He will perform a dazzling mix of contemporary praise music, soul stirring jazz, show tunes, and his unique brand of comedy and satire. Pastor Jonathan will play organ with him on some of the hymns. On October 25th at 4 pm, organists (including our very own Pastor Jonathon), singers, and dancers will perform a set of music featuring both songs from Phantom of the Opera and well known hymns. You won’t want to miss this mash up!
Past Concerts
On February 22nd, the Weavers performed songs during the morning service.
On May 4, the German vocal group Lied Hoch stopped at Zion during their tour of America.
