Congregational Meeting
DATE: Sunday, February 8th (rescheduled from January 25th due to weather)

PLACE: Zion Lutheran Church Sanctuary
PURPOSE:
• Election of 2026-2029 Council members
• Approving the appointment of Laurie Hartmann to the Investment Committee to serve another term
• Ratification of the Appointment of Jill Minshew to the Investment Committee
• Ratification of newly adopted investment policies
• Election of 2026 Synod Assembly Delegates
• Discussion and action on recommendations by the Property Committee, along with financing options for those recommendations
• Review and vote on the 2026 Annual Budget
• Review and vote on the Annual Report of the Congregation
A Budget Forum to discuss the 2026 Budget and Property Committee recommendations will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at 10:00am in the Sanctuary.
High Attendance Sunday with the Webster Brothers!!!
Zion is having a special push to motivate you to bring lots of guests to worship. On February 22, whoever brings the most visitors will get a $300 prize, and second place will get a $200 prize. We will have guest musicians that Sunday.
“The Webster Brothers” have been singing Southern and Country Gospel music all of their lives. Both are from Birmingham, Alabama originally but have been a resident of Texas since 1976. The two brothers have traveled extensively and shared their music internationally on stage, in churches and other organizations as well as television and radio in Europe, Canada, Mexico, Cuba and many other communities around the world.

Mission Trip, March 17-21, 2026
Please pray for Peter Ray, Judy McGookey, Robert and Janice Menking, and Pr. Jonathan who are going on the medical mission trip with Mision de Candelilla. We will be sharing the love of Jesus with people in the villages of San Vicente, La Union, and San Miguel.

Sign up ASAP in the Atrium by January 4 so that we have materials avail-able; Zion will provide the study guide for you. This book will help us better share the joy of Jesus with those around us.
This three-week study will be offered during Sunday School on January 11, 18, 25 at 10:15am OR on Mondays, January 12, 19, 26 at 6:30pm with a Zoom option.
